- Quality Assurance and Practice Development:
- Drive continuous improvement in practice quality and effectiveness, ensuring that services are delivered in a way that meets the needs of adults at risk and their families.
- Implement guidelines, auditing, and assuring service quality against standards, ensuring that services are delivered to the highest standards.
- Lead the development and delivery of policies, training, guidance, and quality assurance processes, ensuring that staff have the skills and knowledge they need to deliver high-quality services.
- Strategic Leadership and Collaboration:
- Serve as the council's lead officer for Local Safeguarding Boards/Partnerships, working closely with key statutory partners to ensure effective collaboration and coordination of services.

- Oversee the development and continuous improvement of ICT systems, ensuring that technology is used to support the delivery of high-quality services.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
- Work closely with County Councillors, the Corporate Leadership Team, and Health Leadership to develop strategic agendas, ensuring that services are delivered in a way that is aligned with the organization's overall strategy.
- Communicate effectively with staff, partners, and the public to promote the council's vision and priorities, ensuring that services are delivered in a way that is transparent and accountable.
- Service Delivery and Improvement:

- Financial and Resource Management:
