Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Nurse Specialist - Young Adults. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people and their families.
As a Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting young adults with progressive illness and complex healthcare needs. You will work closely with our team to provide high-quality care and support, enabling young adults to plan their weekend short breaks and achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities- Assume the role of shift coordinator, leading the short break care of up to three young adults staying for the weekend at the hospice, ensuring their health and care needs are met.
- Support young adults during their short break stay to achieve their goals and plan weekend activities.
You will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team and develop your skills and knowledge in supporting young adults with complex care needs. Training will be provided to ensure you are competent and confident in your role.
