Regional Nursing Specialist

About the Job: As a Regional Clinical Development Nurse at Barchester Healthcare, you will play a critical role in driving excellence in clinical governance and quality of care across our care homes in the South West region. You will work closely with our senior clinical staff to identify areas for improvement, develop strategies to address these issues, and implement changes that enhance the quality of life for our residents.
Key Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the performance of each home, reviewing KPIs, analysing data, identifying trends and areas for improvement, developing and implementing action plans to address these issues, and monitoring progress against key targets. You will also provide guidance and support to newly qualified nurses and contribute to the development of our nursing teams through training and mentorship.
Requirements: To be considered for this role, you must be a Registered Nurse (RN General) with a current NMC registration, evidence of continued professional development, and a strong understanding of current regulatory requirements. An experienced nurse with a track record of leadership and mentorship, you will have worked in a care home environment and be confident in your clinical abilities. Your strong analytical skills, passion for delivering excellent care, and ability to build relationships with colleagues and stakeholders will make a real difference to the lives of our residents.
