Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Specialist Nurse to join our Bladder and Bowel Care Service in the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with bladder and bowel conditions.

Main Duties
  • Manage a varied caseload of patients with bladder and bowel conditions
  • Provide holistic assessment and treatment options to patients
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care
  • Participate in education and training events to develop your knowledge and skills
  • Contribute to the development of the service and its policies and procedures

Person Specification

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Specialist Nurse who has experience of working with patients with bladder and bowel conditions. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Essential criteria include:

  • Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council
  • Experience of working with patients with bladder and bowel conditions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Desirable criteria include:

  • Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field
  • Experience of working in a community setting
  • Knowledge of bladder and bowel care policies and procedures
