Injection Moulding Machine Operator

Brett Martin Limited is seeking a skilled Injection Moulding Machine Setter to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal running conditions for our injection moulding tools, machines, and processes.
Main Responsibilities- Monitor performance against planned schedules and specific standards, including cycle time and Quality Assurance, to achieve maximum efficiency.
- Maximise the utilisation of raw materials through efficient machine operation.
- Own all activities within the moulding element of new product/process introductions.
- Conduct material evaluations, analysis, and selection recommendations.
- Coordinate installation, commissioning, and process development/optimisation for moulds and ancillary equipment.
- Experience of structured process improvement and problem-solving techniques within an injection moulding environment.
- Direct experience of a real-time machine monitoring system.
- Ability to complete autonomous maintenance on IMMs.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- 3rd level qualification in a polymer science or mechanical engineering or some other related discipline.
- Experience of working with PVC & Polypropylene polymers.
- Good working knowledge of Windows-based software.
