Job Opportunity

Brett Martin, a leading manufacturer of plastic and building products, is seeking a skilled Injection Moulding Machine Setter to join their team. This exciting role offers the chance to work with state-of-the-art machinery and equipment in a dynamic and innovative workplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain optimal running conditions for Injection Moulding tools and machines, ensuring maximum efficiency and quality.

  • Maximise raw material utilisation through efficient machine operation and process optimisation.

  • Conduct material evaluations, analysis, and selection recommendations to support new product and process introductions.

  • Coordinate installation, commissioning, and process development for moulds and ancillary equipment.

Requirements

  • 3rd level qualification in a polymer science or mechanical engineering discipline.
  • Experience working with PVC and Polypropylene polymers.
  • Good working knowledge of Windows-based software.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with structured process improvement and problem-solving techniques in an injection moulding environment.
  • Direct experience with real-time machine monitoring systems.
  • Ability to complete autonomous maintenance on IMM's.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
