Collections and House Manager

We're seeking a skilled Collections and House Manager to join our team at Hinton Ampner. As a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, you'll play a vital role in delivering outstanding conservation, presentation, and compliance standards across our portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the General Manager, you'll work closely with your peers to ensure operational efficiency, championing conservation and cultural heritage. You'll manage the Senior Collections & House Officer, supporting them to deliver conservation projects, collections care, and daily house opening at Hinton Ampner. You'll also oversee a team of volunteers, developing their skills and providing an inclusive indoor volunteering offer.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone with a proven track record in delivering high presentation standards, customer care, compliance, and collections management in a historic setting. You'll need to be aware of current developments and best practices in the heritage sector, with a passion for promoting inclusivity and diversity in interpretation and presentation. Strong people management and leadership skills are essential, as well as the ability to build effective relationships and deliver through others.
