Collections and House Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Collections and House Manager to join our team at the National Trust. As a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding conservation, presentation, and compliance standards across our portfolio.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Collections & House team to deliver high-quality collections care and management
- Ensure our indoor visitor offer continues to grow in relevance and accessibility for existing and new audiences
- Champion inclusive service and interpretation, promoting diversity and accessibility in the presentation of history
- Manage the Senior Collections & House Officer and a team of volunteers, developing their skills and providing an indoor volunteering offer
- Work in partnership with peers across the leadership team to ensure operational efficiency and champion conservation and cultural heritage

Requirements- A proven ability to deliver high presentation standards, customer care, compliance, and collections management in a historic setting
- An awareness of current developments and approved practices in the heritage sector around visitor engagement, innovation, and access
- A passion for promoting inclusivity and diversity in the interpretation and presentation of history
- An ability to show resilience and positivity while delivering change and managing internal customers
- An ability to build effective and collaborative working relationships
- Successful experience of people management and delivering through others
