Job Title: Research Hub Manager - Strategic Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Hub Manager to join our team at Venn Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the strategic coordination of our Research Hub, ensuring its smooth operation and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Hub's grant, budgets, and accounts, and coordinate financial progress reports.
  • Engage with sponsors, academic partners, and other stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration.
  • Coordinate events, such as calls for proposals, monthly meetings, and international workshops.
  • Support the Hub's public engagement and online presence.
  • Maintain proactive management of the Hub's social media presence.
  • Assist with the day-to-day running of the group's research web pages and social media output.
  • Monitor budget expenditure and ensure compliance with sponsors' terms and conditions.

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to deal with a wide range of people.
  • Experience with publicity, scientific writing, or web page creation, including hosting a social media presence.
  • Experience in managing scientific or industrial projects.
  • Budget management experience.
  • Experience within the higher education sector.
  • Understanding and experience of research grant funding.
