Research Hub Manager

Venn Group is seeking a highly skilled Research Hub Manager to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the on-going publicity, management, planning, and coordination of the Communications Hub.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Grant Management: Manage the engagement with sponsors, academic partners, and other stakeholders from industry, academia, and government.
  2. Event Management: Manage regular cycles of events, including running calls for proposals, arranging monthly meetings, agenda, speakers, and managing international workshop logistics and finances.
  3. Public Engagement: Support the Hub's public engagement and online presence, including maintaining proactive management of the Hub's social media presence.
  4. Financial Management: Monitor budget expenditure to ensure compliance with sponsors' terms and conditions and coordinate quarterly and annual project reports.

Requirements:

  1. Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to deal with a wide range of people.
  2. Publicity Experience: Experience with publicity, such as scientific writing or the creation of web pages, including hosting a social media presence.
  3. Project Management Experience: Experience in managing scientific or industrial projects.
  4. Budget Management Experience: Budget management experience.
  5. Higher Education Experience: Experience within the higher education sector.
  6. Research Grant Funding: Understanding and experience of research grant funding.
