About the Role
As an Education Support Assistant at North East Autism Society, you will play a vital part in supporting autistic and neurodivergent children and young people to access highly personalised programmes of study in one of our specialist schools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students with their educational needs, promoting independence and confidence.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to develop and implement individualised learning plans.
  • Provide a safe and inclusive learning environment, promoting positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.

About You
We welcome applications from individuals who are passionate about education and supporting students with autism. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents. A comprehensive induction and training programme will be provided to support your development in this role.
