We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a prison volunteer. As a valued member of the Shannon Trust, you will play a crucial role in supporting learners in prisons and enhancing our business support team.

The successful candidate will provide training and ongoing advice, guidance, and support to our mentors in prison. This will involve delivering high-quality training sessions and offering mentor meetings to unlock the potential of our learners.

We estimate that this role would suit someone with experience in training or education, as well as excellent communication skills. In return, we offer a competitive salary of £25,000 per annum, flexible working arrangements, and the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of others.

As a Shannon Trust volunteer, you will be given comprehensive training to prepare you for this rewarding role. Our induction programme includes four training sessions and access to our online training portal. We also offer ongoing support and development opportunities to ensure your success in this position.
