Job Title: Custody Support Worker

Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to work with participants in custody, providing support and guidance to help them achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enroll participants into our program via liaison with prison OMU and other key stakeholders.
  • Improve participants' job-readiness and ability to successfully apply for work on release.
  • Develop trust-based, positive relationships to provide ongoing support for a caseload of participants.
  • Signpost individuals to relevant activities, partner agencies, and Peer Mentors.
Requirements:
  • The ability to deliver short and tailored interventions to address barriers within a given timeframe.
  • A strong understanding of the Justice System or Criminal Psychology is desirable.
