Main Responsibilities:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpentry Lecturer to join our team at m2r Education. As a Carpentry Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our students, ensuring they gain the skills and knowledge required to succeed in the construction industry.

Key Duties:

  • Develop and deliver inspirational teaching and learning materials, including lesson plans, assessments, and resources.
  • Provide guidance and support to students, helping them to achieve their full potential.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to integrate Maths and English into the vocational curriculum.
  • Contribute to the development of new courses and programs, ensuring they meet the needs of industry and students.
  • Undertake administrative tasks, including marking, reporting, and record-keeping.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of a level 2 vocational qualification in Site Carpentry.
  • Recent experience of lecturing or training others in the workplace.
  • Substantial, recent, and relevant industrial experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Current Health and Safety knowledge for the industry.
