Teaching Personnel Permanent Workforce is seeking an experienced Construction Tutor/Lecturer to join their team at a Further Education College in Cambridgeshire. The role involves teaching Construction Multi Skills up to Level 3 to students aged over 16+, starting after October half term or sooner.
Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning, both face-to-face and online, to a timetable that may include evening and non-term times.
- Undertake tutorial responsibilities, including tracking and reviewing student progress and maintaining student records using Markbook and Promonitor.
- Assist in the recruitment and admission of new students.
- Participate in team meetings and course team reviews and evaluation.
- Hold a minimum C&G Level 3 in any construction skill, such as Carpentry, Joinery, or Bricklaying.
- Taught Multi Skills in the past up to Level 3, either on-site or within a classroom.
- Holds an Assessors Award (A1, V1, IQA, etc.) is ideal, not essential.
- Have a relevant UK Teaching Qualification, such as PGCE, Cert Ed, PTLLS, or equivalent, or a willingness to work towards one as the College can provide this.
