Main Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences across a range of programmes, catering to learners with diverse ages and abilities.

Provide teaching and assessment opportunities in line with relevant awarding body requirements to promote access to achievement.

Develop and maintain teaching materials, including handouts, assignments, booklists, assessment papers, and electronic resources.

Prepare Schemes of Work and Schemes of Assessment.

Undertake necessary administrative tasks for the effective operation of programmes in the area.

Carry out moderation/assessment and verification.

Collaborate with colleagues to integrate Functional Skills into the vocational curriculum.

Requirements:

A minimum of a level 2 vocational qualification in the Construction industry.

GCSE grade C or equivalent in English and maths.

Substantial, recent, and relevant industrial experience relating to Construction Maintenance.

Ability to teach on multiple trade areas, such as Carpentry, Bricklaying, Plumbing, etc.

Flexibility to work evenings and weekends may be required.

Must be able to travel independently to other centres operated or staffed by the College.
