Job Title: Healthcare Professional Lead

This is a Part-time position in Stratford with the role of RN(EC) Practitioner, Consultant, Educator, and Advocate. Key responsibilities include autonomous primary health care, interdisciplinary care team collaboration, recruitment and training, safety and quality risk management, and geriatric care management.

The RN(EC) practices under provincial acts and operational policies, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive assessment, analysis, treatment planning, and evaluation of resident’s care. Additionally, the RN(EC) provides medical coverage, consults with health care professionals, and promotes evidence-based primary health care services.

The RN(EC) also performs management tasks, such as guiding policy development, approving procedures, and implementing quality activities to minimize patient/resident risk. The RN(EC) must have superior interpersonal, coaching, mentoring, and leadership skills, and a broad understanding of the healthcare system. The RN(EC) must also have demonstrated competency in health assessment and diagnosis, and the ability to adapt to a busy environment.

The RN(EC) will be responsible for protecting the health and safety of staff and residents, and will be accountable for providing a safe working environment. The RN(EC) must have excellent report writing skills and the ability to create a vision for the development of comprehensive programs. The RN(EC) will work collaboratively with the Occupational Health and Safety department and Clinical Services Team to ensure a safe working environment.

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year.
