We are looking for a skilled Council Support Specialist to join our team at WMJobs. As a key member of our Democratic Services team, you will play a vital role in managing the democratic processes of the Council, ensuring efficient delivery of services, and providing administrative support to elected members and meetings.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, be able to prioritize tasks effectively, and possess a positive attitude. A strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service is essential.

You will work closely with all elected members, providing support to meetings, processing important records, Freedom of Information requests, and Corporate Complaints. You will also contribute to the development of effective policies and procedures to improve the quality of our services.

In return, we offer a competitive salary of £38,000 per annum, flexible working hours, generous annual leave, free car parking, and a local government pension scheme. This role also offers hybrid working opportunities, allowing you to balance home and office-based work.
