Job Title: Early Years SEN Support Assistant

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Support Assistant to join our team at LTF Recruitment. As a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with special educational needs in an Early Years setting.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide one-on-one or small group support to children with special educational needs.
* Adapt and modify learning materials to suit individual needs and abilities.
* Assist in planning and implementing tailored interventions and strategies.
* Monitor and record progress, tracking the development of each child.
* Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure a coordinated approach to support.
* Create a safe and welcoming environment where all children can thrive.
* Support children with personal care and emotional well-being when necessary.
* Encourage independence and social integration among all students.
* Attend training sessions and workshops to stay updated on SEN best practices.

Qualifications:

* A minimum of Level 2 TA qualification or equivalent.
* Prior experience working with children with special educational needs, particularly in an Early Years setting.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.
* Empathy, patience, and a passion for supporting the development of children.
* Knowledge of various special educational needs and interventions.
* Willingness to learn and adapt to new strategies and approaches.
