Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead our Oracle Platform Management team. As the Head of Oracle Platform Management, you will be responsible for overseeing the ongoing evolution of our service, embracing agile ways of working to support the repeatable and efficient delivery of upgrade, maintenance and change activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the ongoing evolution of the service, embracing agile ways of working to support the repeatable and efficient delivery of upgrade, maintenance and change activities
  • Lead on the delivery of the service roadmap engaging with specialist areas e.g. Cyber Security as required and leading the network of business stakeholders
  • Support the development of agile business cases to support the ongoing evolution and improvement of the service
  • Be accountable for managing the life cycle of the service efficiently and effectively, managing external and internal partners to achieve good outcomes
  • Take a lead role in the onboarding of new service customers
  • Work closely with the operational management teams to co-ordinate and plan ongoing change
  • Work to continuously improve the operational efficiency of the platform
  • Work closely with leaders of operational delivery teams in digital, data and technology
  • Employ robust testing practices and processes to anticipate problems and defend against them at the right time
  • Work with architecture and business colleagues in developing a long-term vision and objectives for the service
  • Help build and develop the team, creating a small multi-disciplinary change and support team
  • Lead on the development and maintenance of platform training content in partnership with Directorates
