Stock Control and Administration Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Stock Control and Administration Assistant to join our client's team in Yeovil. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with technical and quality support, as well as stock administration.

The role is commutable from surrounding areas such as Yeovil, Wincanton, Shepton Mallet, Castle Cary, Martock, Somerton, and may suit candidates with experience in stock control, QA, or technical administration roles.

Responsibilities:
  • Completing and processing documentation related to Goods In, Goods Out, and stock control.
  • Maintaining full traceability of stock throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Accurate record-keeping using a bespoke Excel computer system.
  • Assisting clients with technical and quality queries.
  • Controlling internal stocks and assisting with physical stock checks.
Requirements:
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel.
  • Background in manufacturing, food, drink, pharmaceutical, or packaging industry.
  • Excellent analytical, numerical, and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a small office team and liaise with factory floor staff and clients.
