About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our team at Brandon Trust. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to a team of support workers, ensuring that the highest standards of care and support are delivered to individuals with learning disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Empower individuals to live the lives they want to lead, promoting independence and autonomy.
- Provide leadership and day-to-day supervision to a team of support workers, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality care and support.
- Assist the Locality Manager in the supervision, coaching, and mentoring of the team, ensuring that they are equipped to meet the needs of individuals with learning disabilities.
- Provide direct care and support to individuals, modeling best practice and promoting a culture of excellence.
- Coordinate the daily provision of support and activities, ensuring that the delivery of a high-quality, responsive, and efficient service.
- Manage finances and other resources, ensuring that the team is equipped to meet the needs of individuals with learning disabilities.
Requirements:
- Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities, with a strong understanding of their needs and requirements.
- Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with individuals, families, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
- Enhanced DBS check required.
