Financial Operations Coordinator

CMA Recruitment Group is currently seeking an experienced finance professional to fill the role of Finance Assistant. This position will involve supporting the finance team in implementing new processes and procedures, as well as performing day-to-day tasks related to the accounts function.
Main Responsibilities:
- Process purchases ledger, including prepayments and accruals;
- Manage sales ledger and credit control on a daily basis;
- Conduct complex reconciliations, investigate discrepancies and resolve queries;
- Prepare monthly reports for month-end close;
- Assist with month-end and year-end preparation, working closely with senior management.
Requirements:
- Excellent understanding of transactional finance, including sales ledger, credit control and reconciliations;
- AAT qualification advantageous, but not essential; study support offered;
- Ability to work in a hands-on environment, completing a variety of tasks;
- Strong communication and organisational skills;
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
Working with the Finance Director and Controller:
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with the Finance Director and Controller, supporting them in their daily tasks and responsibilities.
