Financial Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Coordinator to join our team at Team Jobs - Commercial. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, managing financial transactions, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain precise and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks and Xero
  • Manage financial transactions across multiple currencies
  • Oversee invoice processing, manage payments, and handle customer credit control and credit limits
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations, ensuring records are accurate and up to date
  • Manage the payroll process to ensure timely and accurate employee payments
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns in compliance with regulations
  • Produce financial reports to assist management with strategic decision-making

Requirements:

  • A qualification in bookkeeping or a related field
  • Proven experience in a similar role with a thorough understanding of bookkeeping principles
  • Hands-on experience with QuickBooks and Xero
  • Strong accounts payable and receivable management experience
  • Advanced Excel skills, including financial modelling
  • Knowledge of VAT returns and compliance requirements

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary of £28,000 - £30,000 based on experience
  • Monday to Friday, with the flexibility of choosing 08:30am - 16:30pm or 9:00am - 5:00pm
  • 22 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing with service
