Financial Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Coordinator to join our team at Team Jobs - Commercial. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, managing financial transactions, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain precise and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks and Xero
- Manage financial transactions across multiple currencies
- Oversee invoice processing, manage payments, and handle customer credit control and credit limits
- Perform daily bank reconciliations, ensuring records are accurate and up to date
- Manage the payroll process to ensure timely and accurate employee payments
- Prepare and submit VAT returns in compliance with regulations
- Produce financial reports to assist management with strategic decision-making
Requirements:
- A qualification in bookkeeping or a related field
- Proven experience in a similar role with a thorough understanding of bookkeeping principles
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks and Xero
- Strong accounts payable and receivable management experience
- Advanced Excel skills, including financial modelling
- Knowledge of VAT returns and compliance requirements
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary of £28,000 - £30,000 based on experience
- Monday to Friday, with the flexibility of choosing 08:30am - 16:30pm or 9:00am - 5:00pm
- 22 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing with service
