Education Support Specialist

We are seeking an Education Support Specialist to join our team at Step Teachers. As a valued member, you will be responsible for providing one-on-one support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), assisting with their educational and personal development. This role requires a patient and empathetic approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide individualized support to students with SEN, promoting independence and confidence.
• Assist class teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons tailored to student needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals to implement tailored support plans for students with SEN.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and behaviour, contributing to comprehensive assessments and reports.

Requirements:
• Previous experience working as an Education Support Specialist or similar role is preferred but not essential.
• A genuine passion for working with children and young people, with a patient and empathetic approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships.
• Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to thrive in different educational settings.
