Suffolk Community Outreach Coordinator

We're seeking a highly skilled Community Relations Manager to join our Sizewell C project team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for building strong relationships with local communities, stakeholders, and partner agencies to ensure that their concerns are heard and valued.
About the TeamOur team is dedicated to delivering a successful Sizewell C project that meets the needs of local communities and supports the UK's low-carbon energy sector. We're a collaborative and dynamic team that values diversity, inclusivity, and respect in all our interactions.
As a Community Relations Manager, you'll work closely with our Senior Manager for Community Relations and other teams to develop community publications, deliver presentations, and manage key communications. Your goal will be to create a positive understanding of the Sizewell C project's benefits, from sustainable energy to economic growth.
We're looking for someone with excellent stakeholder engagement or community relations experience, event management skills, and the ability to talk about complex projects in an accessible way. You'll need to be able to juggle multiple projects within a fast-paced team environment and work collaboratively with others to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities- Stakeholder Engagement: Identify and build relationships with community leaders, parish councils, and local groups, ensuring they are informed, engaged, and supportive.
- Community Support: Respond to community feedback and offer solutions, creating transparency and trust around the project's developments.
- Communications & Advocacy: Manage key communications, from community newsletters to public forums, and support a network of Sizewell C advocates.
