Job Description

We are looking for a Financial Benchmark Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the EMEA Compliance function, you will work closely with the index business to provide advisory compliance services and implement controls relating to regulatory requirements and expectations for financial benchmarks and indices.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as the second line of defence in a dynamic business environment
  • Collaborating with the index business to provide advisory compliance services
  • Providing guidance on and implementing controls relating to regulatory requirements and expectations for financial benchmarks and indices
  • Drafting responses to regulatory enquiries and contributing towards managing regulatory relationships
  • Partnering with Legal to keep abreast of regulatory changes in relevant markets and their potential impact on the product and business
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Familiarity with the financial markets and UK and EU index-related regulatory developments, particularly the BMR
  • A good working knowledge of indices and financial benchmarks
  • The ability to advise on regulatory changes and developments
  • Experience in drafting policies, procedures, and manuals, along with preparing reports for regulatory bodies and internal management
  • A Bachelor's Degree
