About the Position

Responsibilities:

This rewarding role involves working with students who require additional support. As a Care Support Worker, you will engage in one-to-one support and collaborate with teachers to provide tailored care and education.

  • Personalised Support: You will deliver personalised support to students based on their individual needs and care plans.
  • Developmental Activities: You will plan and implement activities that promote sensory awareness, motor skills, vocabulary, and speech development.
  • Collaborative Teamwork: You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure seamless delivery of care and education.
  • Residential Opportunities: You may choose to work in the school's residential centre for a more immersive experience.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should also have relevant qualifications and training in special needs education or a related field.
