About the Position:In this part-time role, you will work closely with foster carers, social workers, and other professionals to provide expert advice and support. As a Senior Social Worker, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of our service users, developing personalized plans, and coordinating care packages.
The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and support a team of social workers. You will also possess a deep understanding of child protection policies and procedures, as well as experience in working with foster carers and other professionals.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team of social workers in conducting assessments and developing care plans
- Provide guidance and support to foster carers and other professionals
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure effective service delivery
- Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to data protection guidelines
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field
- Minimum 3 years' experience in social work, preferably in a child protection setting
- Strong knowledge of child protection policies and procedures
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- A competitive salary of £36,124 - £45,718 per annum, pro rata
- An Essential Car User Allowance of £1,239 per annum
- A 2% Recruitment and Retention Allowance
