The Patient Advice Liaison Service (PALS) at Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to join their team as a PALS Officer. This vital role plays a key part in ensuring that patients, carers, and visitors receive the highest standard of care and support.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing an efficient and effective service in addressing concerns, providing information, and facilitating the resolution of informal concerns. They will act as the first point of contact for patients, carers, and visitors and staff communicating with the PALS Department.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a high level of empathy and understanding. They will also be able to work effectively as part of a team, prioritise tasks, and manage competing demands.
