Mulberry Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Brand Development Director to join our team.

We are a leading recruitment agency specializing in placing top talent in various industries. Our mission is to provide exceptional service and support to our clients and candidates alike.

This role requires close collaboration with strategic partners to ensure they receive efficient commercial and sales support, enabling them to drive business growth and expansion.

The ideal candidate will evaluate and recommend new business opportunities to increase sales or margins, providing an annual Brand Plan and data for inclusion in the Strategic and Operating Plans of the business.

Additionally, the Commercial Brand Development Director will provide and lead Marketing and advertising promotional planning in entities for the brand(s), deploying brand-related sales enablement and support processes tools to facilitate seamless commercial efforts.

A key aspect of this role is interacting and cooperating with all company employees, including Presales, Technical Support, and Order Processing department, to identify new opportunities and threats for inclusion in solutions or related portfolio development plans.

The successful candidate will have 3-5 years of relevant experience (Africa/channel, preferably distribution/technology) and a Bachelor's degree in Commercial, technical, or Marketing. Experience in Product Management, ideally certified or trained on solution, is also required.

An excellent command of English and French (preferable) is essential, as well as excellent presentation skills. The ability to operate both individually and as part of a team is crucial, with a proactive approach to tasks and responsibilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and develop brand(s) across all countries.
  • Collaborate with strategic partners to provide commercial and sales support.
  • Evaluate and recommend new business opportunities.
  • Provide annual Brand Plan and data for Strategic and Operating Plans.
  • Lead Marketing and advertising promotional planning in entities.

Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience (Africa/channel, preferably distribution/technology).

  • Experience in Product Management, ideally certified or trained on solution.
  • Excellent command of English and French (preferable).
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Proactive self-starter who can operate both individually and as part of a team.
  • Mastering of office automation applications.

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year.
