The Talent Crowd is currently recruiting for a Family Time Support Worker to join their Safeguarding Team in the Bolton area.

This role involves providing vital support to families, including assisting with family time, completing home visits, direct work with children, and helping families develop behaviour management strategies and routines. The successful candidate will also be responsible for budgeting and referring families to available support services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting families in need through family time sessions
  • Completing home visits to assess family needs
  • Providing direct work with children to promote their well-being
  • Helping families develop effective behaviour management strategies
  • Budgeting and referring families to relevant support services
  • Working with families involved in Child in Need, Child Protection, and court proceedings

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to build trust with families from diverse backgrounds
  • Experience working with vulnerable populations, particularly children and families
  • Familiarity with safeguarding protocols and procedures
  • Possesses excellent organisational and time management skills
