We are seeking a Labor Management Specialist to join our large Manufacturing site in the UK, at the heart of its sweet treat industry.

This is an exciting time for this organisation as it embarks on its journey to become a flagship manufacturer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the site has the right labour to meet budgeted volumes (£60,000 - £80,000 per annum)
  • Implement a process for reviewing labour establishment and managing overtime spend (average £15,000 per month)
  • Manage daily and weekly labour reconciliation and develop a Labour Management system and process
  • Support training plans to mitigate any skills issues and deliver ongoing training to meet productivity goals
  • Produce a process plan that minimises overtime and mitigates idle time, resulting in increased efficiency
  • Manage relationships with agency providers and agree holiday group sizes and communications
  • Lead a team of 3 direct reports, providing coaching, development opportunities, and regular 1-2-1s to drive performance and growth
