As a Business Transformation Consultant at Aptia Group, you will play a key role in driving business improvement initiatives and maintaining best practice principles across the organization.

This role involves working closely with the business to deliver change programs and ensure our service capability is maintained and developed to meet customer demand.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Defining and implementing initiatives to support the Operations business plan, including collaborating with colleagues across Operations to develop new client opportunities.
  • Ensuring compliance with corporate, regulatory, and legislative requirements.
  • Providing technical and subject matter expert input.
  • Implementing and maintaining policies, processes, guidance, controls, standard documentation, and quality assurance frameworks to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability.
  • Managing smaller projects, leading project work streams, or participating in projects.
  • Creating and maintaining communications, policies, processes, guidance, and best practices to ensure all activities are undertaken correctly and aligned across business platforms.
  • Developing data and trend analysis of Management Information to enable informed decision-making by senior managers/leadership.
  • Recruiting, appraising, coaching, and training technical and innovative people to high levels of effectiveness.
  • Contributing to product and proposition development.
  • Finding solutions to problems, including challenging the status quo, providing an environment that supports creativity and innovation, sharing good practices and innovation across the business.
  • Communicating with stakeholders and external bodies to ensure that all aspects of our administration agree with standards and statutory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience and knowledge in pension administration and a thorough knowledge of Pensions legislation and practice.
  • Previous experience managing/supporting processes and change, with a passion for driving innovation.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Well-established written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to interact, communicate with, influence, and inspire different levels of stakeholders from executive members to subject matter experts.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Self-motivated and able to prioritize your own and team workloads.
  • Analytical mindset - able to analyze information, identify problems and trends, and solve complex problems.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including Word and Excel, and experience of Pension Administration tools and systems.
