The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Working with small groups of students, providing one-to-one support and guidance to enhance their learning experience.

  • Maintaining accurate records of student progress and engagement, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address these.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • An undergraduate degree in a relevant field, such as psychology or criminology, or equivalent experience working with SEN students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • A real passion for supporting students with mental health and SEN challenges, with a keen interest in restorative and therapeutic approaches to education and behaviour management.
