Apprentice Therapy Assistant Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our Complex Medical Therapy team as an Apprentice Therapy Assistant. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced therapists to provide high-quality care to patients with complex medical conditions.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in healthcare. As an Apprentice Therapy Assistant, you will be involved in various aspects of patient care, including supporting physiotherapists and occupational therapists on the wards.

The role involves working as part of a team to provide holistic care to patients with a range of medical and surgical conditions. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a supportive environment and gain experience working with patients with diverse needs.

Salary: £18,330 - £20,329 per annum (National Apprenticeship Wage Scale)

  • Supporting physiotherapists and occupational therapists on the wards
  • Assisting with patient assessments and treatments
  • Developing skills and knowledge in a supportive environment
  • Working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Requirements
  • GCSE 'O' level or equivalent in Mathematics and English (must have certificates)
  • Experience of working with the general public and in healthcare
  • Awareness of clinical and non-clinical complications and risks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
