Occupational Therapy Assistant

CPL's Health division is currently recruiting a professional to provide high-quality therapeutic work for children aged 0-18 years.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with various diagnoses, including Sensory Processing Difficulties, Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Dyspraxia, Cerebral Palsy, Dyslexia, Speech and Language delay/disorders, attachment and trauma difficulties, global developmental delay, or neurological disorders.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • 1. Assessment and Identification: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify areas of strength and challenge for the child. Collaborate with therapists to share knowledge and educate everyone working with the child.
  • 2. Accelerated Therapeutic Interventions: Work with schools, families, and children to provide personalized therapy, individualized goals, and specific activity programs.

This role involves direct work with children and young people with Autism and other complex needs. The purpose is to support therapists in providing high-quality therapeutic work. Under guidance, implement therapy interventions, producing resources as needed.

Job Requirements: A salary range of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. Proficiency in occupational therapy principles and practices, excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.
