Assistant Store Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Ernest Jones in Reading. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will play a vital role in driving sales growth, delivering exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high-performing store environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead by Example: Demonstrate inspirational leadership credentials, with a proven track record in retail management, to motivate and develop your team members.
- Drive Sales Growth: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth, while maintaining a deep understanding of our luxury goods and services.
- Customer Experience: Foster a customer-centric culture, ensuring that every interaction is personalized, engaging, and exceeds customer expectations.
- Store Operations: Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and loss prevention, to maintain a high-performing store environment.
- Team Development: Coach and develop your team members to achieve their full potential, providing regular feedback and coaching to drive performance improvement.
Requirements:
- Leadership Experience: Proven track record in retail management, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of commercial principles, with the ability to analyze sales data and develop effective sales strategies.
- Customer Focus: Passion for delivering exceptional customer service, with a deep understanding of customer needs and preferences.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.
