Our client is a vibrant and contemporary Tapas bar located on the River, renowned for its chic decor and relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant offers an eclectic menu featuring locally sourced ingredients and a fusion of traditional and modern cuisine.
As a Head Chef, you will work a 5-out-of-7 rota basis, with straight shifts. Your responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities:- Maintaining current knowledge of culinary trends and procedures
- Ensuring kitchen staff adhere to quality, hygiene, and cleanliness standards
- Interacting with suppliers to secure high-quality products at reasonable costs
- Monitoring stock levels and placing orders as necessary
- Managing culinary equipment maintenance and scheduling repairs
- Addressing employee concerns, such as sick leave and attendance, and implementing discipline when required
- Developing new recipes and revamping menus to attract more customers
- Ensuring visitors have a delightful dining experience and receive exceptional service
