About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist to join our in-house design team at Willmott Dixon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality design development and technical expertise to support our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and produce detailed technical drawings and design standard details to stage 4/5 level of detail across various building typologies and superstructure types.
  • Collaborate with project teams to deploy and utilize standard details, ensuring compliance with UK Building Regulations and company policies.
  • Liaise with external consultants and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Attend site visits and Willmott Dixon offices throughout the country to provide technical support and expertise.
  • Contribute to the development of our existing Department for Education (DfE) design platform.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Revit user and strong technical knowledge of construction and UK legislation.
  • Ability to produce detailed technical drawings and specifications.
  • Understanding of current Building Regulations, Building Safety Act, and Warranty Guidance.
  • Capability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience within the Department for Education, Residential, Leisure, or Healthcare sectors.
