Design Development Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist to join our in-house design team at Willmott Dixon on a 12-month fixed-term contract basis.

As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for delivering detailed design standard details and working drawing packages, with a focus on the delivery of high-quality outputs that comply with UK Building Regulations and company policies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of current Building Regulations, Building Safety Act, and Warranty Guidance, as well as experience with Revit and a proactive approach to design development.

As a hybrid role, you will be required to work from our Hitchin office on Mondays and Tuesdays, with the flexibility to work remotely on other days.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and producing details to stage 4/5 level of detail across a wide range of building typologies and superstructure types
  • Supporting project teams with the deployment and use of standard details
  • Collaborating with the design team to deliver high-quality outputs that meet company standards
