Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist to join our in-house design team at Willmott Dixon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering detailed design standard details and working drawing packages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and produce detailed technical drawings and specifications for a wide range of building typologies and superstructure types.
  • Collaborate with project teams to deploy and utilize standard details, ensuring site-specific constraints, sequencing, sustainability, and cost are considered.
  • Liaise with external consultants and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Attend site visits and Willmott Dixon offices throughout the country to provide technical support and expertise.
  • Contribute to the development of our existing Department for Education (DfE) design platform.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Architectural Technologist with a strong technical knowledge of construction and UK legislation.
  • Proficiency in Revit and ability to produce detailed technical drawings.
  • Understanding of current Building Regulations, Building Safety Act, and Warranty Guidance.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Desirable experience within the Department for Education, Residential, Leisure, or Healthcare sectors.
