Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Medical Director to lead our Community Child Health team in North East London.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate paediatrician to join our award-winning NHS Foundation Trust as a Medical Director for Community Child Health.

You will work closely with our multidisciplinary teams, providing senior medical support and guidance to ensure high-quality care for babies, children, and young people across Barking & Dagenham.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for participating in the local Child Protection rota, working directly with patients and their families, and liaising with external health providers and acute hospitals.

About You
  • Fully qualified GMC registered doctor with a license to practice
  • Hold CCT or equivalent in Paediatrics
  • Inclusion in the Specialist Register or eligibility within 6 months of obtaining CCST
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in Community Child Health
