Children and Families Team Manager Role

Ackerman Pierce is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Manager to join our Children and Families team. As a Team Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of social care professionals to deliver high-quality services to children and families in need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of social care professionals to deliver high-quality services to children and families.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve outcomes for children and families.
  • Contribute to the development of the team's practice and performance.
  • Ensure that critical reflection and constructive challenge are featured in all case work undertaken by the team.
  • Assume responsibility for taking action against child abuse.
  • Hold overall responsibility as lead practitioner for case work within the team, ensuring a systemic approach is deployed.

Requirements:

  • HCPC Registration
  • 1-2 years post qualifying experience within the UK Social Care industry
  • Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
