Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CBT Therapist to join our team at Bupa. As a CBT Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, evidence-based mental health services to children and young adults.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive assessments and formulations to drive evidence-based intervention.
  • Deliver high-intensity CBT interventions to children and young persons, managing your own caseload.
  • Liaise with relevant agencies and parties as required to ensure a thorough assessment determines the most appropriate pathway of care and support for the client.
  • Provide different models of service delivery, including telephone or video consultation, depending on client preference.
  • Adhere to sessional limits depending on the client's monetary allowance as determined by their Private Medical Insurance, while working towards therapeutic recovery goals.

Requirements:

  • Full BABCP accreditation.
  • Experience in a similar role providing high-intensity CBT interventions to children and young persons.
  • 2 years + experience in Children and Young People (CYP Mental Health) / CAMHS services.
  • IT skills, including proficiency using Microsoft Systems and electronic medical record systems.
  • Safeguarding and robust risk assessment experience with children and young people is essential.
  • Ability to present to groups and deliver training workshops also preferred.
  • Right to work in the UK.
