As a pioneering site for integrated community mental health services, we are enhancing our community mental health offerings.

Our innovative services focus on Primary Care Networks, aiming for comprehensive engagement with Integrated Care Systems through a holistic approach to health and wellbeing.

This model leverages all available community resources, including health, social care, Voluntary Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) organizations, and local communities, ensuring support for wellbeing extends beyond traditional mental health services.

These new teams empower individuals to access mental health services as needed, facilitating support within their local communities.

We are in search of skilled and passionate professionals to fill the role of Community Mental Health Specialist within each borough.

As a Community Mental Health Specialist, you will be employed by West London NHS Trust and play a crucial role in developing care pathways within the local community mental health team (MINT). This position also offers opportunities for mentorship, career advancement, and ongoing education.

We are looking for candidates who possess:
  • Experience in various community mental health settings and familiarity with diverse mental health diagnoses and needs;
  • Expertise in delivering a range of brief interventions tailored to patients with mental health challenges;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with local MINT Teams.
