Job Summary:

Atkinson Moss is seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Partner to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contract. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in managing, reporting on, and optimizing both business-as-usual (BAU) and transformation budgets.

About the Role:

This is a senior position that requires a high-calibre individual with exceptional communication, collaboration, and business partnering skills. As a trusted advisor and strategic partner, you will leverage your financial acumen to provide comprehensive insights that drive strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Partnership and Insight: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, providing financial guidance and support to inform business decisions.
  • Dynamic Performance Management: Continuously improve and refine performance measurement tools and processes, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities in real-time.
  • Strategic Cost Reduction and Efficiency Improvement: Collaborate with the finance team to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Governance and Financial Control: Oversee the governance and financial control environment to mitigate risk and ensure smooth audits.
  • Team Strategy, Management, and Engagement: Drive strategy and engagement, realizing efficiencies and fostering a culture of continual improvement.

Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified and ideally degree educated.
  • Demonstrable business partnering experience at a senior level.
  • Good analytical ability with strong attention to detail, offering high levels of resilience to an ever-changing business environment.
  • First-rate communication skills with the ability to present plans to support business decisions to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
