Senior Finance Business Partner Role

Dynamic Business Seeks Experienced Finance Partner

£60,000-£70,000 (DOE)

Keeler Recruitment is seeking a confident and experienced Finance Business Partner to join a dynamic business based in Central Norwich. This senior role is on a 12 month, fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will have the flexibility to work 3/4 days a week from home.

Reporting to the Finance Director, key responsibilities will include:

  • Business Partnership: Oversee and ensure accuracy and consistency in the control and valuation of inventory.
  • Inventory Management: Partner with the business to ensure that they set a challenging, accurate plan and forecast for inventory and variable costs.
  • Analysis and Improvement: Analyse results against plan, understand and document drivers of variances and re-forecast accordingly.
  • Process Improvement: Partner with the business to implement change, improve processes, and drive improvements that flow through to financial results.
  • System Implementation: Lead the inventory side of system implementation and improvements.
  • Financial Support: Support the accounting team to ensure they maintain a robust and reconciled balance sheet.
  • Working Capital Forecasting: Work with the wider finance team to ensure working capital forecast assumptions are accurate.
  • Currency Hedging: Support the currency hedging process, ensuring alignment with group policy.
  • Internal Control: Work with the Group Assurance Manager to ensure internal control standards are in place with regard to the Inventory systems and process.
  • Audit Support: Work with the Financial Controller to manage all inventory related aspects of interim and full year audits.
