Job Description:This is an exciting opportunity for a driven sales professional to join our Commercial team as a Business Development Manager. You will be responsible for developing purposeful relationships with stakeholders in the NHS and private healthcare sector to drive sales growth.
You will work closely with internal teams to deliver large-scale projects, requiring regular travel to customer and client sites. Your primary objective will be to create new business opportunities by investigating accounts and establishing relationships with relevant clinical and procurement stakeholders.
- Maximise product sales by utilising high-level product knowledge and selling skills.
- Liaise with internal Field Service, Clinical Education and Internal Sales teams to meet targets.
- Identify further upsell opportunities within healthcare waste management consultancy and clinical waste collection services.
- Demonstrable success and proven experience in healthcare waste sales (minimum 3 years).
- Proven experience working with NHS and/or private healthcare stakeholder groups in a sales/development capacity.
- Excellent communication and project management skills, with ability to prioritise and organise workload.
- Ability to identify knowledge gaps and development potentials, with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Driving licence and willingness to travel with overnight stays.
