Sales Director

As a Sales Director at Sja's West, you will play a key part in driving sales growth to meet annual financial targets. This involves building long-term relationships with major customers and developing existing customers to drive growth and achieve sales revenue targets in the First Aid and Health & Safety markets.
The successful candidate will be educated to GCSE level or equivalent, have experience of building rapport and developing sustainable relationships in a B2B environment, and excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and build positive relationships with customers, including preparing and conducting business reviews, making presentations, undertaking relationship reviews, responding to customer issues, and proactively developing relationships.
- Grow the business by responding to pre-qualification questionnaires, submitting bids/proposals, preparing tenders, proposals for additional services, up-selling and cross-selling, leading tender vets/bid teams, and identifying opportunities to improve and widen services to customers in line with business strategy.
- Contribute to the overall achievement of both workplace training revenue and/or St John Ambulance supplies, win and build new major accounts in line with prospect strategy, retain and grow the existing customer base by identifying upsell opportunities, achieve or exceed targeted revenue for training &/or supplies, and ensure the customer experience is in line with agreed targets in terms of quality and frequency of contact.
